Training and CPD for Design

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) helps the delivery of good design in Kent, for both the public and private sector – it is a powerful tool for improving the quality of what we build. Kent Design provides this: it is a network for everyone involved in the built environment, providing a unique platform for collaboration. It brings together the people who shape Kent and Medway through the delivery of high-quality architecture, public space and infrastructure to improve the quality of life for both visitors and residents.

About Kent Design

Kent Design is an initiative of the Kent Planning Officers Group and is managed by Design South East, an independent not-for-profit organisation working across the wider south east delivering expert design advice, facilitation and training for local authorities, the development sector and communities.

Kent Design delivers CPD related to the built environment, for public and private sector professionals at all stages of their careers, through introductory masterclasses and webinars, knowledge exchange networking events, roundtables, conferences and study tours.

Adapting to changing circumstances, many Kent Design learning and networking events are online or self-study, running smoothly and successfully – allowing learning without the travelling!

Members receive priority booking for all events in the Kent Design annual programme, discounts and invitations to member-only events. Members also benefit from the opportunity to help shape the programme, contribute knowledge, showcase projects and join the discussion on hot topics and current issues through access to this unrivalled network.

Please visit the Kent Design web site or email kentdesign@designsoutheast.org for details of their comprehensive range of design related courses.
